I ride forward with Klethi, shield up, until the enemy crossbowmen spot her, and start shooting at her.
I place the cavalry, which includes companions and crushers, to their left side and back, in sight from the enemy's line of approach. I dismount the horse archers, and put them on a hill. I equip Klethi with some throwing weapons, at least one, possibly two shields. I place Klethi in command, trained as a throwing specialist. My army is usually 11 companions, plus Tier VI Khergit horse archers and slave crushers in a two to one ratio.
